Eating: An Act of Love?

Posted on September 24, 2010

A friend called and asked me to ask my “CoAuthors,” as I’m currently calling them, why her hair is suddenly falling out in large quantities. She’s also psychically/intuitively gifted, and we often share our skills with one another since it’s so hard to be objective with oneself!

In a previous call, she’d mentioned that she hadn’t been eating much at all for the past two weeks, being mostly on the run and too busy. Candy bar here, salad there.

We both thought that many people could benefit from the insights given by my CoAuthors about our struggles to nurture ourselves effectively, myself included!! My friend generously agreed to let me share this with you. Here’s what I received for her when I asked:

“Self-care, self-love, self-nurturing vs. self-denial, self-hatred, personal destruction.

“Please tell your friend that she has been doing well of late in her self-analysis, but could profit mentally, physically, and spiritually from taking measures to practice the Love principle on herself. She needs to lessen her dependence on external forces in favor of exercising her inner force of Love, directing it first into her own physical being, all the cells of her body.

“How does a mother nurture a child? First, with love, and then in an extension of that love, with the food of love from her own body, manufactured as a product of that deep, psychic, spiritual bond with Infinite Intelligence and with the child in her arms. In other words, she uses her body as a tool, a conduit to provide the child with a source of Infinite Sustenance until that child completes its transition into the so-called physical world and can better tolerate the fuel provided on your world that is necessary to maintain the physical body in good health.

“As you know, many in your modern generations were denied this special nurturing experience of Love—Infinite Love channeled through the mother’s psychic and physical energy systems. Hence, you were bereft of this love, and have been left in a confused state with regard to your relationship to the fueling of the body with sustenance regenerated from the Infinite Creative Intelligence, the Source of all life, or Love, or God, however you are able to conceive that radiant source of life-energy.

“Those who were forcibly bottle-fed, those weaned too soon, etc., etc., have missed an important primary lesson about the true Source of their physical cells, the nurturing Force keeping them alive in this world. A confusion which, in your present society, began at birth and has been further complicated by lack of knowledge of the source of life in all of your teachings of both science and religion, with a very few rare exceptions.

“Now, as she approaches the time when she will live in a higher dimension, freed entirely of a physical body, and its need for the type of energy-fuel required on your planet, your friend, yourself, and all others face the prospect of needing to draw your sustenance directly from the Infinite Wellspring. You will need to know how to perform this ultimate act of self-love and self-sustaining, self nurturing.

“As you already know, the body is a representation of the astral or psychic body. It is your tool for learning the important survival skills that you will exercise in future evolutionary states of being. It has been designed with amazing flexibility, survivability, and forgiveness, if you will. You can subject it to many errors in judgment over a long period of time and it will adapt and survive—although not thrive—particularly during your younger years of learning on your planetary home. Were it not so, your lives would be of very short duration, indeed.

“However, as your time grows shorter, the time arrives when you begin to harvest the results of your life experiments. Study these results carefully, learn from them, and make course corrections if you can—right up to your last moments on Earth, for these corrections may be the culmination of lifetimes of experimentation and learning, and you will carry those treasures alone into the higher worlds, long after that particular body in which you now reside has ceased to exist!

“Love it, you must, if you wish to experience the Infinite Love of which it was and is entirely constructed, designed in the pattern of all that you know, express, and are, in all of the dimensions in which you currently exist.

“Cause and effect, dear ones. None of us escapes this most important principle of life.

“With our own most Radiant Energies to guide you, we will sign off from this transmission as,

“Your Brothers and Sisters in Spirit.”

I was also told to ask my friend, “What is hair made up of?” Protein, of course. You can’t grow it if you don’t supply that.

After I read this communication to her, my friend admitted that she really hadn’t eaten meat for years, not since her divorce decades ago. Because who wants to cook for just one person, right? So she ate pasta for every meal, starving herself with insufficient proteins.

Why don’t we think of these things for ourselves? Ah, but we do. Sometimes, however, another part of ourselves blankets that truth quickly before the flame is seen. And it’s that “other part” of ourselves that makes up the deeper challenges in this life. We all have our reasons! And our excuses! And our self-destructive impulses for a variety of misinformed conclusions we’ve made about ourselves. We could go on and on and on all day and not begin to cover the variety of ways in which we blind ourselves to our higher input. ’nuff said.

Onward and forward, comrades! With our Swords of Love and Light and Truth! We will conquer our lower selves!

Love to you all —

What Does It Mean When a Rabbit Crosses Your Path?

Posted on September 3, 2010

Rabbit outside my kitchen window staring at me
Rabbit eating outside my kitchen window
Rabbit hiding near my bird bath not far from the street
Me at my kitchen sink, pondering the meaning of totem rabbit outside the window

Before we talk about the popular subject of animal totems, and at the risk of seeming un-humble, I am going to quote a comment posted on a previous blog entry:

“Wow Lianne, your breadth and depth of knowledge of the metaphysical (and all that entails) is extraordinary. I’ve done my fair share of reading and research over the course of my adult life, but do not profess to have such a broad scope of information and understanding as you.”

I’m so glad someone noticed because I AM NOT THAT SMART! As I’ve mentioned before, when I write something of this nature, I’ve learned how to link up with my Higher Resources and THEY are very smart indeed. They’re the ones with the depth and breadth; especially because they are so numerous, they cover many areas of expertise. It’s their “frequency” that you may sense in my writing. (Other times, well, only I can take the blame for that stuff.)

I know, I know; other people tell me I should take full credit for the good stuff, too, but these Other Voices are so present in my own awareness it just seems like a shoddy thing to do, and not fair to any of you. Because truth is, anyone can learn to use this interconnected consciousness if you learn about the energy principles involved, if you first realize how populated your multi-dimensional universe is. Then you discover the practice of discernment. Or, as we’re about to discuss, frequency relationship.

I’ve spent at least 42 consciously-aware years in that study in my present lifetime, and many prior lives striving for this awareness and practicing my communication skills inter-dimensionally. Most importantly, I’m trying to develop a keener discernment about those with whom I am communicating. I look for keys to raise my frequency to a higher level. (One must be very choosy and careful.)

Many of you have likewise spent time in such study and preparation. I’m pretty sure of that. Otherwise, why would you be reading this now? And why would some of you notice that there’s more here than a single mind should have acquired in a single lifetime? And really, if you look at the words I’ve used, they seem pretty ordinary. Casual, in fact. But lurking behind them are often Minds of a development more advanced than we’re accustomed to associating with on this planet. At least, in our day-to-day experience.

Okay, enough of that. I’m guessing we’ll come back to it later on in this blog, many times. But my CoAuthors don’t like a lot of personal attention, name-dropping, and such. No one here wants to set up shop and become a frequently-sought-out guru or anything. So on to Rabbits and other “animal totems.”

Coincidence? Or Frequency Relationship?

Rabbit totem is not actually not a different subject, because the underlying energy principle in the subject of animal totems is the same principle of “frequency and harmonics” that guides my association with higher Minds, Teachers, CoAuthors, whatever you wish to call the millions of members of the benevolent brotherhood of Beings with whom I associate. It’s also the same principle people are striving to understand with all their laws, secrets, and attractions, if you know what I mean.

If you were walking in the woods and a large tree limb crashed down in front of you, missing by mere inches, you’d find it very significant, wouldn’t you? Aren’t you the kind of person who would, after recovering your breath, stop and ponder? You’d wonder, “What if I’d been a little bit faster?” Or even, “What powers of goodness kept me from colliding with that limb, or that limb from colliding with me?” In my way of thinking, it would be almost inhuman not to have such wonderings.

So when we lived in our tribal or more primitive lives on this planet, we developed all sorts of explanations for such events. And we noticed, vividly, probably even more vividly than we do now, our intersections with every living element of the natural world.

I grew up dawdling around in Michigan woods and streams, and so I often came across things that did not seem coincidental. If a particular creature made a grand or unusual entrance—i.e., crossed my path—I wondered about it. Surely it meant something? That bird seemed to be looking at me in a distinct way. What was it trying to say? Who sent it? And why?

I can look back now and say that perhaps that was some of my training between lives echoing into my conscious mind, and even indeed some of those I’ve called my CoAuthors sending their little messengers to lighten my day. But that’s hindsight.

Owl Totem

When I heard of Medicine Cards back in the 90s (a kind of oracle based loosely on Native American animal associations), I thought “There! That’s the explanation I’ve been looking for!” I was immersed in my other studies at the time, but a friend owned a set so I asked him, “What do they say it means when an owl perches in broad daylight outside our office window in plain view, and stays all day despite the little birds pecking at him?”

The mystical answer from that author’s perspective was that the owl is associated with “clairvoyance, astral projection, and magic.” One out of three wasn’t bad. As I said, whenever I’m writing, clairvoyance is a part of the equation. The owl was perched outside the room where this work took place.

The physical answer came from my famous animal-tracker sister, Linda Jo Hunter. She pointed out that Joseph had been trapping the mice overrunning our rural home at the time and, unbeknownst to me, throwing them out the front door (right near my office) so as not to deny them their rightful place in the natural world. She’d spent time with an owl biologist in the Pacific Northwest, and that’s how they “called down the owls” for research—with dead mice as lures! Joseph had done an admirable job of “calling” this owl to us. He’d apparently decided it was easier to wait right there for his supper, just in case some other owl might get there first if he’d had any flight delays.

Oh, how the mind imagines! And conjures motivations and mysteries! But it all makes deeper sense and does indeed involve a little bit of “magic” (if you take that view of complex inter-dimensional relationships). I say inter-dimensional, because the principles of frequency and harmonics function at invisible levels, hence, they are “other-dimensional” since our physical senses do not generally detect them.

According to my copy of Animal-Speak: The Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creatures Great & Small by the late Ted Andrews, owl symbolism is widely disagreed upon, if you study the various cultural associations. Andrews speculates that because the owl is a night bird and humans have always found the night mysterious, they were bound to conjure some dramatic meanings whenever an owl made its presence known.

So it’s really up to Joseph and me to decide: What did the owl’s presence mean to us, if anything? Because whether Joseph called it with dead mice, or whether it was attracted by our resonating frequencies of thought, deed, and emotion, it chose to stay in our presence.

In other words, we were all harmonically compatible. So did it have anything to tell us about our current state of being, reflecting as it did our entire milieu of life at that junction?

Did it symbolize the reincarnation of the dead, as some traditions claimed? Or fertility, as the Welsh believed? Well, birth and rebirth (reincarnation) is definitely a subject we were writing about at the time the owl perched outside our office. What about the Roman belief that owls could aid in the extraction of secrets? I’ve certainly been a Roman in prior lives and I have been thoroughly engaged in a quest to extract the secrets of the Infinite in my work and study. It goes on and on like that.

Why We Attract What We Attract

The point to be gained from the experience, or my retelling of it, is that of being observant and open-minded about the meaning of everything we attract, through frequency-relationship, in the course of our lives. To know that we are little beacons emitting a certain radio-frequency, and receiving back answers that are harmonically tuned to that frequency.

What surrounds us is a reflection of what we have been (even back into previous lifetimes) and what we are in the present moment.

This is true whether it comes in the form of an owl, or as Joseph once experienced on a horrible, rainy day of job hunting, a passing truck full of pig manure that unfortunately found its way onto his windshield. Horrible, yes, but that might have been the “attraction” that broke the cycle of despair and made him laugh, thus changing his frequency to one that took the “horrible” out of the entire experience! And surely made the rest of his day more bearable.

Which is why the notion of trying to resonate only a “positive attitude” or focused visualization out into the world simply doesn’t work for me. Our reality is constantly reflecting back to us things from which we can learn, or use to propel change, or to expand our understanding of the Infinite (an understanding which of course never comes to an end). I do try to remain upbeat, finding the silver linings in all things, but something about the rote application of the “attraction” principle (missing the other side of the wave form, the “repulsion” principle) seems wrong to me.

It seems like a place you might get stuck, where you’ve got half an energy principle that is valid, but you’re missing an entire universe of other energy principles just as valid and vitally important to your growth in understanding and well-being. I can’t see how that approach could prove fruitful or lastingly effective. It reminds me of the time I was touring Greece and Lebanon and lost one contact lens. The rest of my experience was tilted, half-seen through filtered light, slightly unreal.

However, I’m willing to concede that recognizing that “like attracts like” and that thoughts are like radio beacons could be helpful as a starting place. I’m saddened, though, by how many people are willing to cast off their own abilities as inter-dimensional communicators in favor of having someone else perform this task for them. It surely leads to mental and spiritual atrophy. Especially when that particular information source is confining their thinking so narrowly.

Rabbit Totem

But now, at last, the Rabbit: Yes, when I opened the kitchen blinds one morning to see a rabbit sitting square in the middle of what Feng Shui terms the “career” area of our home (which happens to be outdoors), I paid attention.

He was staring at me intently, clearly determined to hold his freeze until I NOTICED HIM. It was blinding midday, and there’s not much out there for him to eat; mostly rock landscaping designed for drought tolerance, with a few scraggly tufts of yellow gazania that blew over from neighbors’ yards, which he might have considered dessert to a heartier meal. I know he normally hangs out across the street, where there’s lots of green grass and lovely, dense bushes. That’s one of the reasons his presence captivated me and made me finally say aloud, “What?! What are you trying to tell me?”

Rabbit in my front yard

At the time, I’d been once again haggling with myself over the career issue of to blog or not to blog. I mean literally, weighing it over in my mind at that very moment. So I knew he might be a factor in the answer. Had he been sent by one of my Advisors? Or did I “attract” him through frequency relationship, something that would symbolize and embody the message that my higher self was trying to get through to me? A symbol that could break through my insecurities and conscious-mind resistance?

While living in the owl-haunted home, Joseph and I had learned many animal lessons. We had decided that the rabbits on that property were teaching us by their behavior to be alert to the present moment, to seize opportunities that might appear suddenly, and to progress by sudden leaps and hops, always with a wary eye for danger. Never lapse in your alertness, Rabbit shows us. And move quickly when you have the opportunity. As you can see, I seized this one.

Did I need the rabbit to tell me? I suppose not, if some other way had been found to gain my attention.

Did I interpret it rightly, act on the right impulse, seize the moment? Well, that’s the thing about seizing moments; you don’t really know, do you?

But I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with this living Teacher rabbit, who still visits that same area. Matter of fact, last week I observed that certain areas in that bank of rough grey granite chunks were actually flattened and smoothed, as if an entire family or families of rabbits had spent some time on them, like the acorn-grinding slabs we found worn into the boulders on that property we’d once rented, remnants of our Native predecessors. On closer inspection, sure enough I found enough rabbit droppings in those spots to fertilize an entire lawn!

Future tenants in this house are going to wonder how those green things have managed to sprout up through a foot of granite despite the plastic underlining. Only the rabbits and we two (and you) will know!

I see I’ve wandered off from my subject of frequency and harmonics, so I’ll have to continue on another day, seize another opportunity to expand on this most important principle. Until then—bon chance! May all your seized opportunities bring you pleasure, wisdom, and grace! So say my CoAuthors.

Part II: The Power in You!

Posted on August 26, 2010

Last post, I talked about my concept of an interdimensional universe, in which we inscribe everything we live in this 3D world in an interdimensional energy configuration, which I’m calling the “psychic anatomy,” as I learned from the writings of Ernest Norman.

This becomes a blueprint, like self-created software, that powers all future lifetimes, constantly feeding information into our present existence, even if it’s a flawed or destructive influence. (Simple examples: an old battle wound that remanifests as cancer in the present lifetime, or as a birthmark, or as a passionate emotional connection to the instigator of that wound, or theirs toward you, or all of the above! The possibilities are infinite!)

In my last post, I called this “indestructible” energy. That’s not entirely accurate. More importantly, the patterns of information in your psychic anatomy are indeed changeable—by you! But as none of us live separate from all else, the actual process of making such changes involves a lot of energetic input and assistance from higher dimensions. I can’t begin to tell you in a blog how that all works! But I’ve experienced it.

Skimming over my 35 years of intensive study of interdimensional science, which I still don’t fully understand and probably never will as far as I can foresee, let’s just say I was completely surprised to find myself studying my own past lives. I never went looking for that! But once I began to grasp this clever little fact about “permanently inscribed energy-information,” which I had created and stored with everything I’d ever done in countless lifetimes, a scientific concept of reincarnation became “permanently” embedded in my conscious thoughts. Inescapable truth.

Then, after a long series of experiences with past-life recall and subsequent healing, the idea of having lived before was no longer just a theory. Real and true and provable and proven, in the only way anything ever can be: through my personal experience.

So when I view anything at all in my life, I’m viewing it through a lens that is shaped by a wide concept of myself as an interdimensional, eternal, energetic being. Everything I do matters that much more. Everything I do creates and shapes energy-information that becomes a permanent part of me, like writing on Facebook! 😉 And some things I’ve done in the past have really screwed up my present. That’s life, right? Nothing new about that, and over time, we gradually evolve into better ideas and better ways of relating to the universe.

But by studying the interdimensional nature of consciousness, I learned a fast way of speeding my personal evolution. I don’t go walking around looking for past-life connections in every tiny thing (don’t laugh—I know some people who do). But if a problem starts to dominate my life and interfere egregiously, and if I go ferreting around to find out what the past-life connections are,

  • (a) I get lots of help and the information manifests in myriad ways if I’m willing to recognize it, and
  • (b) if I hit upon the true original cause and accept it, and
  • (c) if I’ve set up all the right interdimensional connections and done my homework between lifetimes in preparation, then
  • (d) I can experience a rather dramatic healing, during which the energies inscribed in my psychic anatomy are changed so that the offending past-life incident no longer affects me in a negative way.

It doesn’t completely go away, mind you. Only the pattern of information is changed, rendered harmless. I will need to know of my past mistakes and traumas because they are part of the learning I came here to acquire. But the fangs are pulled; I can view whatever it was objectively and it no longer causes me harm by interfering in the energetic systems that support my body and my consciousness in daily life.

Et voilà—many people call that “past life therapy.” A more modern description would be that it’s an advanced form of Energy Psychology.

That’s why I had to bring up this subject of past lives, which few people want to know about. (Most folks sense that it might not be pretty.) Although past-life healing has been one of my most significant and life-improving Soul Pursuits, several lesser branches of this interdimensional energy science are more commonly recognized in the present day and therefore of more interest to the general reader.

I’ve been asked to write about my experience and training in two of those branches: Eden Energy Medicine and sooner or later, I’m going to have to rail on and cheer about its cousin, Energy Psychology.
They are both precursers to the full study of the psychic anatomy (although I studied them last, after I already knew how vital they are). They provide basic knowledge every kid on the planet should be taught at a young age! Both are magnificent assets in the field of self-healing. Although they function more at the surface level of your present physical lifetime, EM and EP can lead you deeper, in your understanding and in your healing. But that’s a subject for a future day!

So until we chat again, may all your life experiences provide wonderful, positive, constructive energies for you to draw upon in all your future incarnations! Or at least the hard-won wisdom which results from all your traumas, tragedies, and other learning experiences.

Posted on August 20, 2010

I flippantly promised Helen I’d explain what it means when a rabbit crosses your path (the fascinating subject of animal totems), but then I realized that I can’t talk about any Soul Pursuits of that nature until I try to explain the energy universe in which I live.

You see, when I was 21, my first Soul Pursuit came upon me without warning and it changed my perceptions of everything. From my observations since then, I’d have to say that I live in a different universe from a lot of other folks, so we’d better start there if we’re going to have a reasonable conversation.

I was a drama/journalism student at San Diego State when I came across a book called The Infinite Concept of Cosmic Creation by Ernest L. Norman. It stopped me cold in my pell-mell rush through life and stood me and everything I’d ever been taught on its head.

Then it wrapped me up in visions of an infinite universe in which everything lives interdimensionally, all propelled into being by an Infinite Creative Intelligence that swirls into our lives through our personal connections with it. Our energy connections. This web of being never ceases—not when we’re born, not when we die to this dimension, not when we’re reborn in a higher dimension, nor when we return to this one later on, after we’ve absorbed some new ideas about life continuous that we want to try out here.

The creatures around us are part of this energy web, and so are the plants, rocks, and your 1965 Mustang or whatever floats your boat.

Think like that for long enough (three and a half decades for me), and the world around you takes on some new, pardon my term, dimensions. Watch a bee and you know it’s following the impulses of Infinite Intelligence coursing through its own interdimensional connections and propelling its actions here in the third dimension. You realize that’s why strictly third-dimensional scientists still can’t explain bees or ants or even many functions of their own bodies!

Then you gradually realize that your own higher-dimensional energy body (psychic anatomy, to use Dr. Norman’s term for it) is storing everything you think, say, and do in an indestructible form. It’s from this interdimensional matrix that you create your Earth life: the way you look, the people you are drawn to or repelled by, events that unfold (again) in your present life. Your beliefs in the present moment are completely colored by your past, and past-life, and higher-life experiences. The very energies which fuel your life are continually passing through this filter you’ve personally constructed over the course of many lifetimes of experience in this world, and out of it.

Whoa. So what I’m thinking now (eating now, saying now, doing now, complaining about now)—it’s all going to stay with me and replay again at some future date? Only this time, I’ll be the victim of my own little negative quirks and habits? I can’t just lash out at the person who treated me so unfairly without paying the price for it later?? It’s all going to boomerang back on me?

You think about that for a while and you start to change your behavior. But first, of course, you see how everyone else is screwing up. That’s much easier.

Then you start to see that in this web of interconnected energy, you’re just one small facet but vital. Whatever happens to the Universal Matrix affects you, and whatever you do affects It. You stop killing spiders for a time. Then you realize that you’re eating some of the creatures who share this energy universe with you. Okay, so you try to stop eating the ones that walk & crawl & swim. But wait—plants are no less alive than animals and insects! And just as intelligent. They’ve even been proven to scream, fear, and so on. Vegetarianism isn’t the no-killing diet you thought it might be. Not when you really conceive how closely interlinked we all are in this Infinite Matrix. You sigh, pick up your fork, and thank every single morsel on your plate for giving its life for you.

To live in this world, this physical, third dimension, you must eat of the energies of life from another living being. And one day, the ants and bacteria and worms will eat you, or your ashes will fertilize another plant-being. The energy you’ve consumed from other living creatures? You will be passing it along, all through your life. And then you will give over your very last bit of it.

But wait. Not ALL of it. Only the physical bits. The rest goes with you, all the higher-dimensional energy structures you’ve been storing up for your entire life (lives). They are indestructible. But changeable.

Aye, there’s the rub: How to change what you don’t like? How to reconfigure your personal psychic anatomy, which you built, energy vortex upon energy vortex, and which now serves as your filter of the Infinite Intelligence flowing into your present existence. How do you “correct” the filter of indestructible (E=MC²) energy you built for yourself back when you were making decisions you thought brilliant, which you now think of as horrible mistakes? Must those mistakes replay in all your future lives? Forever?

And that brings us back to my endless Soul Pursuits.

(Next time: My Greatest Soul Pursuit of All: Working Out Negative Karma, or, The Power in Me!)
